<h3>What is this</h3><p>From time to time it happens that, after having beaten a villain, I realize I missed a couple of rules and effects (e.g. “Guard” or “Retaliate"”) during the game. This is always disappointing, especially after a close victory. Most of the time this is due to the rules and keywords written on the cards as plain text which is much harder to keep track of compared to symbols. That's why I designed a couple of tokens that can be placed on cards, making it easier to stay on top of what's going on.</p><p>This set contains markers for these four keywords:</p><ul><li><strong>Retaliation:</strong> Comes with the values 1 and 2 and “R” or “V” ("Vergeltung") on the back. Characters with “Retaliation” will strike back after an attack and inflict 1 or 2 damage.</li><li><strong>Guard:</strong> This had to be a shield token. ^_^ &nbsp;Put one on each minion in play with the “Guard” keyword. A guarding minion prevents a hero from attacking the villain as long as this minion is in play.</li><li><strong>Extra hit points:</strong> Can be used if characters have certain upgrades attached that increase their hit points. Each marker on a character increases their max hit points accordingly.</li><li><strong>Restricted:</strong> These markers can be helpful if you if you have more that two restricted cards in your deck. Each hero may have up to two restricted cards in play. Whenever a restricted card is played, put one of the two markers on it. Once both markers are on a card, no additional restricted cards may be played unless one that is already in play is removed, returning the marker.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><figure class="image"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/216326/rich_content/918bf81f-aa08-4ce2-b3d8-144c1996322b/screenshot-2022-07-04-211649.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%2267cc66bf-9435-4b0a-b5c9-73603689d8e6%22%2C%22w%22%3A1213%2C%22h%22%3A945%7D"></figure><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Here is an exemplary situation in which the markers can be quite useful, as a lot of things are going on: This Ultimate Bio-Servant is "Tough", indicated by the “Tough” marker. It also has two upgrades attached to it. The Defensive Programming gives it +2 hit points (+2 token) and &nbsp;“Guard” (shield token). The Pain Inhibitors add another +2 hit points (+2 token) and “Retaliate 1” ("Retaliate 1" token). Also, for each attachment it gets +1 Attack (+2 attack counter). Rocket Raccoon has two restricted weapons in play, each one with a “Restricted” token on it. If they turn out to be too thick, just re-scale them. I can add more language versions, if anyone needs them.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h3>How to print</h3><p>While this is a multicolor print, a multi-material upgrade or similar multicolor systems are not required. The counters are designed in a way so that simple filament changes are sufficient to print them.</p><p>After printing the base you need at least 1 change before printing the top structures. If you want to keep the shadow effect (which I highly recommend), you have to have 2 filament changes.
