Mason-Jar Salt Shaker

Mason-Jar Salt Shaker

We needed a salt shaker, and this serves well. Lid snaps (gently) into place and will swing fully back. There is a missing hole...it was an accident but I decided I like the imperfection :) Instructions Printed in PLA on a Printrbot LC. I am not concerned with the food safety aspect of this because... The salt does not remain in contact with the PLA There is no heat involved There are no liquids involved (and I've placed rice tied up in a coffee filter to remove humidity) The lid does not form a tight seal, so no issues with off-gassing (not that PLA does that) This nozzle/hot end has had over 500 hours of filament through it One more thing...the tiny knobs in the lid hinge are small enough that you don't need support.
