Master Sword Pedestal of Time (for digital calipers)

Master Sword Pedestal of Time (for digital calipers)

thingiverse

My digital calipers would always be too tall for my pen holder so I decided to design a dedicated stand for them. I modeled this stand after a pedestal that holds the Master Sword from The Legend of Zelda series. It fits the Harbor Freight "Pittsburgh" digital calipers and I'm sure it will fit most other similar ones. I printed it in black PLA and gave it it a paint job using grey filler primer and a few spritzes of flat black to give it a stone effect. Then I added some detailing creating cracks and notches with a knife and darkened the Triforce with a fine Sharpie marker. If I had to do it again, I would have sanded all surfaces with 120 grit sandpaper to smooth out the layer lines that show through the filler primer. Feel free to remix this to fit different sized calipers, scissors, pens, markers, whatever. Enjoy! UPDATE 9/18/2017: Corrected orientation of ST file with bottom side down.
