Mastercrafted Wolven Silver Sword Head + mould- The Witcher [REMIX]

This is a remix of Mastercrafted Wolven Silver Sword (v2) & Scabbard - The Witcher by mrandyvalentine. I have modified the head of the sword and prepared moulds for cold casting using epoxy resin with aluminium powder and to assemble onto steel laser cut sword. Changes in the silver sword head design: - increased thickness of the wolves necks to eliminate distance between wolves to ease printing (and later casting) - modified size to fit 1:1 - added 2 bases - added slot (4.6x33.6x24mm) to fit steel (laser cut) blade - silmplified the mesh to decrease level of details SIMPLE 3D PRINTED SWORD HEAD VERSION Parts to be printed for just a sword head: 1x miecze_20220511-srebrny_glowica_v1g.stl (silver sword head) COLD CASTED SWORD HEAD VERSION Parts to be printed for sword head cold casting: 1x miecze_20220511-srebrny_glowica_v1g.stl 1x forma_v3A.stl 1x forma_v3B.stl 1x forma_v3C.stl 1x forma_v3D.stl 1x forma_v3E.stl After printing parts forma_v3A & B using 2mm pins (I use rivets steel remaining pins) and forma_v3C.stl + miecze_20220511-srebrny_glowica_v1g into FIRST complete mould for silicon. Assemble both parts of forma_v3D and wrap around using adhesive tape (SECOND mould for preparing silicone positive of the sword blade end). Use lubricant to ease disassembly after unforming (I use often Ambersil or simple PTFE lubricant / silicon dry lubricant). Fill both moulds with two compound forming silicone. After finishing silicon hardening process (for the silicon I use it is usually 24 hours) disassemble the FIRST mould and cut silicon in half along, carefully take printed wolf head out). Disassemble the SECOND mould and take the blade positive out. Assemble parts forma_v3A & B using 2mm pins (I use rivets steel remaining pins), insert silicone moulding from FIRST mould in upside-down. Assemble 3d printed part of forma_v3E.stl and silicone moulding from SECOND mould, put on top of the mould. Apply lubricant into the mould to ease later disassembly. Prepare epoxy resin (I use aluminium powder add-on to achieve the metal look) and fill the mould through the holes in forma_v3E part. After finishing the process of resin hardening carefuly disassemble the mould and take the moulding out. Polish the casted sword head using 000 steel wool to get incredibly metalic look ;-) tags: Mastercrafted Wolven Silver Sword Head + mould- The Witcher cold casting powder cast epoxy resin silicon silicone
