As it says in the thing name. Replacement for frequently warped and busted back plastic piece for Matchbox No 29 Pumper truck (Fire Truck). This is designed by having a number of parts superimposed on each other, which seems to work fine in the Chitubox slicer for resin printers, YMMV. I've also included the .blend and the "PLATED" file which ultimately gave the best print results for me. Based on the remaining broken chunk of the original part that was left on mine and reference photos of the truck found online. I think I got pretty close.

Instead of a plastic rivet/rolled post I've made it a fit-n-click where you just press down firmly on it and it clicks into place. Be warned- do all your painting and finishing work before installing because once it's in place I haven't been able to successfully uninstall it.

Please feel free to remix and clean up the actual model a bit or make it fit a little better. You coudl also reconfigure the truck to maybe hold a ladder or whatever else strikes your fancy. I'm pretty pleased with the results I got so I ship.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Anycubic

Printer:

Photon

Rafts:

Yes

Supports:

Yes

Resolution:

.5

Infill:

nope

Filament: Siraya Resin - Blu Translucent Blue

Notes:

(Printed on an SLA resin printer. Rinsed in the alcohol you get at the big-box home improvement stores that comes in a paint thinner can, then cured under UV lampbefore carefully cutting off the supports. Supports were removed with a pair of flush-cut pliers, then the remaining bumps filed with a mini diamond needle file. I gave it two coats of Tamiya fine white primer then popped it into place on the truck.

Category: Toys & Games
