This is an easy and fun math game to play with kids learning to do math. The purpose is to set an operation with the numbers and operators. Then the kid has to join the answer in his Result Base. Then I started the sketches in SolidWorks. Always taking into account the dimensions of the parts. For the numbers I created a template with the maximum dimensions of the number. In there I only changed the actual number and the rest was automatically done. This helped save a lot of time. THE ORDER OF THE FACTORS MATTERS. Always consider the way you design a part and make relations between dimensions. The order in which you perform operations is relevant in SolidWorks. Take into account possible reshapes or change in dimensions. If you don't do this you will have a real hard time modifying parts. I always make an assembly of the final project in SolidWorks. Taking all the parts into the same layout helps to correct and see if there are any errors. Note the way operations are performed on the left side. I use to perform extrudes, then cuts, and rectifying with fillets, chamfers, etc. at the end. Custom Section Project Name Math Operation Game. Do Math in a fun and constructive way! Overview and Background This project aids in the teaching of math by performing operations like addition, substraction, division and multiplication in a fun way. Objectives Learn Basic Mathematical operations. Audience Kids in Elementary School who are beginning to learn Mathematics. Ages: 5-10 aproximately Subjects Mathematics Skills Mathematical reasoning and logic. Knowledge of mathematical operations Knowledge of mathematical operators Lesson/Activity The Project is intended to be taught by an educator to a child learning Mathematics -The educator sets the operation in the operation board. -Gives the child the result base and numbers -The child solves the problem and fills the result base with the number. -The child joins the two bases, thus completing the operation. Duration Approximately 1-2 minutes per round. A number of operations can be fixed in order to challenge students and determine who is the fastest in solving a set of operations. Preparation Prior basic Mathematical knowledge on numbers
