It's a manga star symbol, a higher symmetry thing. moreton bradley book, stl by george heart, adapted for myself for printing with abs, the underside of the stars is difficult to render straight, so i divided it in two halves to stick together. so that the nicest part of the stars is always on top on both sides... also included original full star STL and the base supports i made for it in sketchup and stl format. To join hemispheres i put a roll of sandpaper on a flat surface and sanded the tips almost imperceptibly, and then i filled a jar lid with thin ABS glue, and dipped the tips of all the stars in the glue, it took about 20 seconds, and then there were small drops holding to all the star tips and i affixed them to the other star tips. best to do hemispheres with ABS because the 20 degrees underside slopes and warping makes the under of the stars totally rough, so sticking the top on both sides makes a nice model with some kind of funky squirled insides surfaces.
