Maui's Necklace Teeth and magnetic catch from Disney's Moana

My son is 7 years old in a couple of weeks and is crazy about Maui from the film Moana, so I made him the necklace he wears to go with the wooden hook I am making him and the costume he will be getting. I printed the attahed model at 80% scale as the teeth are more like an adult size at full scale and were a little too large. I modelled a magnetic catch to go with it as he has additional needs and wouldn't be able to manage a mechanical clasp. This also means it's very safe against yanking on it. The teeth models are split in half to no support is needed on any of it, just superglue (ca glue). You will need to print two of the clasp models. THey are designed to hold 2x 9.5mmx0.75mm magnets in each half (4 magnets total). They are just ones I had already. I used 2mm hemp string and a hot gluegun to secure the teeth in the various methods needed to match the original image. I used super glue to hold the nots in place so they would come undone during play. I plaited 9 strings for the main cord and dirtied the teeth up with a grey and brown paint. The total length of the cord and catch is 20" on my version. I hope you like it. Please post any makes you ...make. I'd love to see them.
