these plates screw to each other and replace the battery door. not for use with the stock gearbox, but for custom RC conversions. no modifications are required on the mauler hull. Use screws to sandwich these plates together. the more the better. the mauler hull flexes a lot and if you glue them to the mauler hull they can still detach over time. cheers
