Mavic Pro Camera Mount

Updated April 22 , 2019 Just added version 13 of this camera mount. Its a little longer and separate the camera hole from the hole used for the power button. Also made it a little stronger over the hole that clamp around the battery release buttons . Thought I would try and make a secondary camera holder to go on top of my Mavic Pro. It sits on top of the battery , and should not interfere with the GPS signal . I made a hole for the power button and the side brackets are for the people that are a little leary about putting a camera on top without better support. I would use a rubber band to go around the Mavic ( being careful not to go over the downward facing sensors on the bottom of the Mavic) . This should ease pilots minds a bit. I also included a spot to put a 1/4 Hot Shoe Mount through the bottom of the plate as shown in the main picture. You could probably use a Gear 360 Camera with this , or GoPro mount . Overall the mount is thicker and fits snugger then some of the other ones you see on here. I used this as my starting point . https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2137716 I printed in PLA and to be safe at 100 percent infill and I added supports around the brackets and the windows for the battery release buttons . UPDATE APRIL 8, 2019 . Just uploaded my latest VERSION 8 and Version 10 of this print. Made side walls thicker . Version 10 , I made it easier to print , and it will be more flat across the top of the Mavic , instead of curved . Sorry about how rough it looks , but I am only using Tinkercad to make my adjustments. P.S. Yes I know my prints look bad by the area of the supports. Still have'nt mastered the support setting.
