Mavic Pro/Platinum Float Kit by Mike Flys

This is a bracket kit to attatch 4 inch (99mm) Smooth Styrofoam balls to a Mavic Pro/Platinum so it can take off and land on water. The retention band needs to be printed in Ninja Flex. Other TPUs I have tried are not as elastic. The rest of the parts should be printed in PETG or PLA. PETG is less likely to warp if left in a car or in the sun. Besides the parts for download I have included pdfs of the instruction sheets, and printing recommendations. Early in 2017 I spent a lot of time developing this Mavic Pro float kit through trial/error/flight-test/redesign for my friends and I. The goal was to be able to land/take off from the water/land, fly right and not have the floats get in the shot. after we played with them a lot and I compiled a video of of flights of mine and my friends. https://youtu.be/vjnp_IGKYAM The video caused people from all over the world to reach out to me wanting a kit. I have printed and shipped hundreds of these kits all over the world. I have now developed a kit for the Mavic 2 Pro/Zoom drones, and have to decided to post the mavic pro kit on thingiverse which I intended to do from the star. I hope you enjoy it.
