This is my submission to the Birthday design competition. It is my first attempt at producing something for 3D printing. The design is inspired by Mayan, Aztec and Native American sculptures and shows various totemic faces. The idea is to not immediately see the faces but kind of discover them among the patterns and ornaments or find new ones like children detecting animal forms in cloud formations... The faces are can also be animal like. You can see a "cartoony" cats face or maybe a cows' for example.
