Maytag Dishwasher Top Rack Wheel Peg

<p>The top rack plastic wheel pegs recently started snapping off on our Maytag dishwasher. This is a small part to fix this issue. Make sure to follow the printing instructions!</p><h3>Printing Instructions</h3><ul><li>The easiest solution is to use the provided <i>3mf</i> which is pre-configured with the appropriate modifiers, etc.</li><li>Print using a dishwasher-safe filament (for temperature resistance and food safety). I used <a href="https://filaments.ca/products/carbon-fiber-pc-cpe-1-75mm">Carbon Fiber PC CPE by filaments.ca</a></li><li>Print the peg <i>on its side </i>(with supports) else the peg will probably snap during use due to high temps, the weight of the top rack and layer direction.</li><li>Ideally use 100% infill for the part that the wheel (and weight) rests on.</li></ul><h3>Installation Instructions</h3><ol><li>Hack away the remains of the old wheel peg from the rack so as to leave a tight-is hole for the new peg to press-fit into. I used a Dremel and pliers for this job. Remove the middle part completely save for ~2mm of the inside "walls" for the pin to fit onto. See pics.</li><li>Push the part in. It should be a tight fit (it shouldn't budge afterwards).</li></ol><h3>Remixing Instructions</h3><p>If for some reason the wheel peg does not fit on your dishwasher, you can tweak it using the provided Fusion 360 source file.</p>
