Mazzer Bellows and Throat Guide - Zero Retention

Mazzer Bellows and Throat Guide - Zero Retention

DONT VASE MODE THESE. They are designed to fit in exact wall width, in and out. This is bellows and a throat guide for most Mazzer coffee grinders. This will help you achieve zero grind retention. If you have a Mazzer, you know what the throat guide solves just looking at it. The two components are designed to fit just right- tight enough the bellows doesn't spring itself out after a pump, but loose enough it's easy to use the bellows as a bean weighing cup and quickly flip it in there. I included my noob-y f3d file in case someone wants to modify. You might be able to do vase mode with a 1mm nozzle, but I'd stick with multiple perimeters on a 0.4mm nozzle for better overhangs. I recommend a wider width and shallower layer height for better and stronger overhang. i.e. 0.5lw and 0.15-0.2 (max) lh for a 0.4 nozz. I recommend SpiderFlex for the bellows and anything for the throat guide. I had failure of previous bellows using Sainsmart stiffer TPU after a few weeks. Both Sainsmart and Ninjaflex will have to print at much slower speeds than SpiderFlex for success. Use hairspray as a removal agent if you print flexibles on pei. It sticks like a mofo! Choose triple or quad bellows, but I found 3 to be better than 4. It's enough, but not too much air. With 3 I can slam it harder, adding to the effect of shaking loose the grounds and getting em out of the chute without an espresso dust cloud. I hope you all can benefit. Brim for the throat guide. Flip the bellows before print.
