Mazzer Major Grinder Mini Hopper Puffer Lid and Anti-Popcorning Plunger

Hi Folks. After picking up a beat up old Mazzer Major for £100, I wanted to convert it for home single dosing. The parts I've designed work in conjunction with a 52mm metal lens extension and a rubber collapsible lens hood (see pic) which I bought pretty cheaply on Amazon. The lens hood in conjunction with the lid form a puffer to evacuate the chute of grinds (you may want to remove the anti static shield on your Mazzer to facilitate further clearance). The plunger prevents popcorning of the beans and helps feed them into the burrs. Experiment with print settings on your printer. ou basically want hi resolution combined with fairly high infill and shells to make it as watertight as possible. It also feels nicer to use when it's a bit heavier. I've been washing my PLA version in hot soapy water for a year with no deterioration. I've developed this and honed it over a year's daily use and am pretty happy with the results.
