Designed after about a year of frustration trying to dial in a flexible 3D printed TPU bellows design for my Mazzer Super Jolly single dose conversion. My designs kept being either too stiff to work, or too thin and splitting after extended use. This simple adaptor turns an off the shelf rubber automotive part into the perfect cylindrical bellows to help you blow out retained grounds of coffee effortlessly and reliably. This design also covers those annoying screw holes that beans always get trapped in when you single dose. You'll need some kind of cover for your grounds shoot to prevent getting covered in a cloud of coffee - but as single dose mods vary in their execution I thought it best not to include one and let you figure the best solution out for yourself. Here's a link to the part I used: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/284207477429 If you're in a different country or the link stops working then it's a common automotive part used on many cars. Search the manufacture part number: 55700767 to find it. The search should return results for a "Front shock absorber dust cover". It will be comically large when it arrives. Feel free to cut it to the size that suits you best. I just folded the smaller diameter end in on it's self to give a better seal against my hand. The extra length is useful to stop the grounds from popcorning out of the top of the machine so I kept it long. If you want to cut the bellows down then you might need to make something to prevent the popcorning. If you have small hands you might need to make another adapter for the top to get a good air seal with your palm. I haven't had this problem myself but it's a consideration if you want to try this design out. Hope this helps others trying to find a low cost bellows solution for their grinder! Feel free to remix to other grinders. I don't really have much time to take requests for alterations but it's a simple idea so you should be able to come up with something. PS. I don't know for sure that the bellows are food safe, but from what I found out about rubber products they should be okay, and PLA also isn't food safe either, PETG might be a better option. Obviously you should make your own decisions about what materials you use around your food/drinks. I'm not responsible if anything goes wrong.
