Mbira_Resin_Sm [SelfCad]

myminifactory

This design is my submission for the SelfCad 2020 design competition (completely designed in SelfCAD). This instrument is called an "Mbira" [m-BEER-rah], which is a percussion instrument with origins from Western Africa. The Mbira, very similar to the kalimba [kah-leem-bah], is identified by 15 tongues (keys or chords) based in the key of F major (for my fellow band/music-nerds). This design is not meant to be functional as it was scaled to be printed on my Elegoo Mars (no supports needed)). If you're interested in printing it on a filament printer (FDM), you can scale it up by at least 40% (140% in Cura). Designed and uploaded with www.selfcad.com #selfcad #sculp-with-selfcad
