mBot Ultrasonic Servo Mount Bracket Faceplate Makeblock

mBot Ultrasonic Servo Mount Bracket Faceplate Makeblock

thingiverse

Since most of the ultrasonic sensor mounts that I found on Thingiverse were for a different sized sensor, I made one for my Makeblock mBot. This bracket is designed to mount the mBot Makeblock Ultrasonic Sensor to the Makeblock Servo, to enable the servo to control the direction of the sensor. If your sensor is a slightly different size, you can customize the bracket to fit. I use this in conjunction with: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1249439 to attach it to the mBot. Also, feel free to experiment with the other parameters of the design to create a unique look. I found that there is enough support for the sensor with only the center of the "eyes" being held, instead of the bracket completely covering the face. I used OpenSCAD to design the part, and this is the first piece I have designed this way. Please let me know if it works for you.
