MCS Hook

MCS Hook

thingiverse

MCS frames have hook holes relatively far from the frame edge. Unfortunately this means that the hook must be far down from the nail, or it rests on the nail itself. Since I did not like to put just nails in the wall, and I wanted to use a hook, I made these long hooks which are suitable for MCS style poster frames. (You'll find them even in your local stores and online) After buying several sets of hooks, and none of them really fit, I designed my own. They appear highly reliable and currently support 20+ frames at my place. The hole to put the nail is slightly inclined, and the hole size is large enough for most nails and small enough for most nail heads. Printing 1 hook may take up to 14 minutes individually, you should try one before you print a batch of 10 which make take over an hour and a half.
