ATTENTION - If you are unsure how to handle electrical components, then - by all means - do not attempt this mod. The power supply unit must be completely discharged! Otherwise there is a danger to life. Big thanks @dermatin for his design. My design isn't a real remix but I used his design as inspiration and took a few dimensions (mounting points). So I think it's just fair to declare this design as a remix. Since the MW LRS-350 is not allowed to be operated in Germany, the RSP 320 must be used in Germany. Unfortunately the many modifications for the LRS-350 do not work for the RSP-320. So I designed my own modification. In my case the stock prusa PSU went up in smoke and I was lucky that I was nearby to prevent worse. My intention was to use the socket and power-loss circuit from the stock PSU. I placed my printer in an enclosure and took the PSU outside of it. So there is no mounting point on my design. Regarding the noise level of the fan I tried the fan silencer for the LRS 350 (for the ender 3 pro) which caused the PSU to get very hot. In my opinion there is only one solution. Exchanging the fan for anythin less noisy, with equal airflow. BOM: (printed parts) 1x Case (use the Case_BRIM.stl for better adhesion to the printsurface) 1x Case_bottom 1x PSU_cover (optional) 4x M4_spacer_Xmm (if longer screws are used) (non-printed parts) 4x screw - ISO 4762 // DIN 912 // DIN7984 - M4x6 (M4x8 and M4x10 do need spacer -> check max lenght!!!) 6x screw - ISO 4762 // DIN 912 // DIN7984 // ISO 7380-1 - M3x8 2x screw - ISO 10642 // DIN 7991 - M3x10 8x hex nut - ISO 4032 - M3 7x cable ties (MAX width = 3.8 mm / thickness = 1.8 mm) 12V - 80 mm fan (3-pin or 4-pin do also work. Just check the pinout and only use +/-) Some components get very hot so I do NOT recommend to use PLA. The fan needs to be fixed with cable ties. I am no fan of screws which could possibly fall into the PSU when screwed from the inside. There are also holes for cable ties on the back of the case.stl. You can use these for strain relief of the power cables. For those of you who want to change any parts or do a remix, I have also added the STEP files. Please share your designs.
