Summary cost of elements no more than 10 dollars How it work: Principal element - spring from special spring steel. On a one hand this spring flexible, on other - its spring. (detail in pictures) Switching element - hi voltage reed switch (two principal advantages: cost 1 dollar and 'dry contact', due to its mechanical nature), which directly connected to internal hoist electric circuit (plus lamp for indication and resistor if need). Two cad model attached - first is productional variant, second - testbed. Productional variant have an air gap between spring and chain (1 mm). When wear progressed chain eat gap. Maybe gapless variant will be more advanced. And sorry for my english:)
