Update 24/08/23 I have updated both the main Arduino program (MC1) and the Interactive Calibration program. I noticed that, occasionally, the cams seemed to "lose" their position and a power on reset was needed. I eventually traced this down to the Servo library (still no idea what exactly happened but it was 100% due to the library). So I we-wrote the routines to drive the servos eliminating completely the servo library. As a happy benefit the clock movement is now MUCH quieter. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shiura's mechanical digital clock was an awesome project. My remix does a few changes to some of the 3D printed parts but a lot of work on the electronics (my field) and the arduino software. Changes: * Removed the holes from the top of the digit frames for a cleaner look * Complete makeover of the clock base to house my electronics and give digit separator colon * Remix of the cover boxes to have mounting holes and fit better * Remix of the digit retainer for a cleaner look * Remix of the cam to give a more standard '7' character * Design of a custom PCB for the electronics complete with UK MSF atomic time receiver * New Arduino programs for both run time and to easily calibrate the servo positions
