This is a heavily modified counter that can count both forward and backward. I based the mechanism on the wooden model referenced in the original design. I printed this at a 60% scale and it worked out well. Any smaller and there will begin to be issues with the smaller parts. A full size one should work as well. Make sure to orient each piece in the way that works best for your printer. Each piece should be printed once with the exception of the front and back frame. That will need to be printed twice. When assembling, each piece holds together with friction but may need a small amount of cleanup to get a nice fit. I used a 1mm beading needle that I cut and bent for the pins. With loops on the end, the bar on the right holds the pin so they don't fall out. The small pin that connect the lever and the hook may need some glue on one side to hold it in. This design could use some refining but I am happy with it.
