[Here's a video of how this thing works](https://vimeo.com/295852070) [Here's the description of this thing on my website](https://www.karolyfodor.com/mechanical-iris-ring-box-1) I designed this ring box with SolidWorks and printed the parts with a Prusa i3 MK2S. For the wood-like parts, I used Gizmodorks woodfill PLA filament, and for everything else, I used Solutech green PLA filament. To get a more authentic wood look, I just used some indoor furniture wood stain. I provided assembly instructions below. Also, you will need the following hardware: - 8mm aluminum rod, ~53mm long - Three pcs. 8mm aluminum rod, 8mm long - Four pcs. 1/8" aluminum rod, ~0.3" long - Four pcs. roller bearings, OD 9.525, ID 3.175, W 3.969. These are available on MSC. - Three pcs. #8 machine screws and nuts Good luck, and let me know if it works. EDIT on 16:54 EST,10/23/2018: Added missing file "elevator slots.STL".
