Mechanum wheels plus rollers designed for UK antweight (150g) combat robots. A full set of mechanum wheels consists of the following: - 2x MechWheelA - 2x MechWheelB - 4x MechWheelRoller The wheels have a diameter of approximately 33mm, and are designed for a 3mm D-shaft which will press fit onto the typical N20 motor used in the weight class. MechWheelA and MechWheelB are printed in two halves with the outer faces lying on the print surface. No supports are required. MechWheelRollers contains 8 rollers, enough to fit one wheel --- Assembly (per wheel) --- Additional materials: 1mm brass rod, hot glue gun, 2x8mm M2 screws, N20 motor 1) Fasten the ring side of the wheel to the mount side of the wheel with 2 8mm M2 screws. 2) Cut 8 sections of 1mm brass rod to use as axles for the rollers. Slide each section through the inside roller support, through a roller and into the corresponding support on the outside. 3) Use a hot glue gun to seal the brass rods inside the wheel by placing small blobs of glue over the inside roller support hole, taking care to not get any glue on the rollers. 4) Carefully press fit the wheel onto the N20 motor. NOTE: if you push the wheel all the way onto the motor, the screw heads may catch on the gearbox of the motor. You may have to leave a small gap between the motor and wheel if this happens.
