Welcome! This is the scientific project of the team LEGOLÀCTICS (Catalonia, Spain) for our participation in the First Lego League "City Shape" challenge. ENG - In our scientific project we want to improve the medical emergency system (SEM). Currently, in the event of an emergency, a witness must call the SEM to report the problem. The SEM will ask for information on the person's state of health, but the information will be incomplete and communication will take a few minutes, which can be crucial. If necessary, medical personnel will be move to the place by an ambulance or helicopter, which may have traffic or accessibility problems, as well as contamination. That is why we have designed a system in which anyone who wants it can implant a microchip. The microchip would be constantly monitoring the person's state of health and, in case of detecting any problems, it would send a message to the cellphone and/or smart bracelet. In the event that the person is unable to solve the problem by himself, the microchip will send a notice to the SEM with all the accurate identification, location and health information, and the SEM will send medical personnel in an autonomous air vehicle (AAV) that we designed. We believe that this system would greatly improve the current SEM. CAT - Al nostre projecte científic volem millorar el sistema d’emergències mèdiques (SEM). Actualment, en cas d’emergència, algun testimoni ha de fer una trucada al SEM per comunicar el problema. El SEM demanarà informació sobre l’estat de salut de la persona, però la informació serà incompleta i la seva comunicació requerirà uns minuts que poden ser cabdals. En cas necessari, el personal sanitari es desplaçarà al lloc dels fets amb ambulància o helicòpter, els quals poden tenir problemes de trànsit o accessibilitat, així com de contaminació. Per això hem dissenyat un sistema en el que tothom qui ho vulgui pugui dur implantat un microxip. Aquest estaria constantment monitoritzant l’estat de salut de la persona i en cas de detectar algun problema, enviaria un avís al mòbil i/o polsera intel·ligent de la persona. En el cas que la persona no pogués resoldre el problema per ella mateixa, el mateix microxip enviaria un avís al SEM amb totes les dades precises d’identificació, localització i estat de salut, i el SEM enviaria personal sanitari en un vehicle aeri autònom (AAV) que hem dissenyat. Creiem que aquest sistema milloraria enormement el SEM actual.
