Originating from India (presumably Delhi), this popular buddha form resembles medicine. Classically seated with a medicine bowl in his left hand and the right extended to the ground touching Mudra. The creator of the sculpture is unknown but it is on permanent collection at The Houston Museum of Natural Science. This object is part of "Scan The World".
