This is a Medieval Catapult, sometimes refered to as a mangonel. This particular model features wooden beams held together by iron wraps and rivets. Tension wrapped ropes hold the lever arm in place, while ropes in the back are spun to pull the arm down. The basket is made of an iron frame. Though not quite as superior to the trebuchet, it's certainly a more effective siege engine than the ballista. I mean, I think. They're pretty similar, but the catapult looks visually sturdier than the ballista. I'm not an expert though. So.. Important Info Made with Blender 2.8 This model is part of the Siege Engine set. This model may be sold in separate collections for a different price.
