Medieval manacles/handcuffs/leg irons

These are replicas of medieval-style manacles. The hinge doesn't require anything external, it just prints as-is and works. The edges in contact with skin are chamfered so they are actually quite comfortable to wear. If you are printing this for cosplay or strength doesn't matter, use any print settings you like. If you want to use the cuffs and want optimal strength, print in a tough material like ABS, use 0.2mm layers or higher and use a high number of walls/perimeters/shells, like 15. I have included the FreeCAD source file so you can tweak the parameters to your liking: diameters, thickness, height, etc. Just open the spreadsheet and change the values. If you don't want to mess with FreeCAD, but want a custom variant, just leave a comment with what you would like and I'll upload the file. Here are the parameters I can change: inner diameter (width/height), thickness, hinge outer/inner diameter, hinge spacing (on XY and Z), length of the outer “lip”, padlock hole diameter, height. If you don't want want to mess with FreeCAD, I have included several variants for common use cases: Size: 50x60mm, 55x65mm (for wrists), 70x80mm or 75x85mm (for ankles). Thickness: 5mm or 8mm. Height: 30mm, 40mm or 50mm. For example, the file “cuff-mk2-5060530.stl” has 50x60mm diameter, 5mm thickness and 30mm height. The hole at the end is 5mm in diameter. Update 28/08: moved the padlock hole a bit towards the centre, adjusted hinge size and made the lip 5mm longer for better strength.
