Medieval Torch Light

Medieval Torch Light

thingiverse

This medieval-looking torch light fixture is designed for an animated flame bulb. The two main printed parts are the Base and the Cone, which twist-lock together. Drain holes in the base prevent water from collecting in the cone. The base is designed to mount on the end of a piece of 3/4" metal electrical conduit, because that's what I had lying around. About heat and PLA - This torch has been outside for a couple weeks, with the bulb running about 6 hours/night. No deformation at all. The bulb just doesn't get warm enough to cause a problem. Since it's a Halloween decoration it will be put away during the summer. If you leave it out in hot weather please let me know how it does. **Extras:** Snap-in Grommet for bringing the cord out through a hole in the side of the pipe. Elbow for mounts made of multiple pieces of conduit. Bracket to attach conduit to a wall.
