Medium Storage Container

Medium Storage Container

thingiverse

I created this container as a bigger version of my small container which was too small for what I was thinking so I doubled the sizes of everything and was able to come up with this medium container. I might double the dimensions of this one and put it on thingiverse as large but this is what I have now. Some things that you should note is that the lid does not secure (I am currently working on a lid that secures), and this is great for paperclips, push-pins, small Lego's (1-2 piece bricks), and lots more small stuff you might have trouble containing around your house. The divider slides in smooth when positioned at the right angle, and stays secure, but is not hard to remove. This print took me 2:31:04 but depending on your infill percentage, printer speed, and print quality, this will likely change from person to person. UPDATE 9/10/2020 - I added a new lid to the files that secures, however this is a prototype and will not fit on with the divider in the container. I am currently working on a version that will work like that but for now there is a new lid that you can print separate. !!!IMPORTANT!!! YOU NEED SUPPORTS FOR THE NEW LID OR THE PRINT WILL BE FLOPPY AND FALL APART. UPDATE 9/10/2020 - I finalized a secure lid design that secures on the container with or without the divider in the middle, this file is added separately so you don't have to re-print the container. !!!IMPORTANT!!! YOU NEED SUPPORTS FOR THE NEW LID OR THE PRINT WILL BE FLOPPY AND FALL APART. UPDATE 9/12/2020(NEW) - I updated the design because it didn't fit, but now everything looks great!
