Mega tree strip stabilizer

Mega tree strip stabilizer

thingiverse

This is a part designed to decrease the amount of flop and twist on large mega trees using the original Boscoyo strips. These can be added after pixels are inserted into strips, or slid into place as the pixels are being pressed into the strips. By removing one or two pixels at the desired location, the strip can be folded slightly to allow the strip to be inserted into the stabilizer. There is a photo included, kinda showing this. Once these parts are installed, just thread a length of 3/32 vinyl cable(1/8 diameter with vinyl included) through and use a couple of zip ties to keep it in place. You can either zip tie each strip to the cable or leave all but the ends free to float, allowing the tree to "breath". This was designed for the original Boscoyo strips. These have been tested and confirmed to work on the new style strips as well. However there is now a version(8) that gives an added .02(.5mm) space for thicker strips or printers that don't hold tolerance as well. These fit between bullet pixels at 2 inch spacing.
