The Meidjo is a popular telemark binding which features ski-breaks, more convenient than leash. The problem is that the movement of the boot on the stop-ski produces a terrible squeak sound at every step when skinning up the mountain. No chance to observe any wild-life !

This device is placed on top of the flextor part of the binding, just in front of the spring-box of the binding when locked in touring mode. The two hooks maintain the stop-ski in upper position (inactive) during the uphill walk.

Requires a stiff material which resists to cold temperatures. The best found so far is PET-G but I would like to test Nylon+carbon/glass fibers
