I just needed a new and sturdy spool holder for my Mendel90 (Nophead dibond kit). I wanted it to be fairly simple and oriented to to with the y-axis. All you need is a smooth rod of 8mm diameter and 340mm length. A threaded rod should work as well. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Mendel90 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 25% Notes: I printed mine in ABS with 25% infill 15-20% should work, too. Since the gap is only 3mm wide support should not be necessary. How I Designed This designed in Fusion 360
