The groove height on groove mount barrels can vary, and sometimes it's hard to make a 3D printed yoke. Then there's E3D, whose version is inexcusably larger than anyone else's. This template allows for easy custom thicknesses of shims for a MendelMax 2's standard MaxStruder extruder. The stock design of the top holder depends on building the part just right. Instructions I used different thicknesses of plastic shim stock, and cut them with an engraving laser. Printing out as a template to cut shim stock with a hobby knife might work well too. Insert a shim or stack of shims that is thick enough to be reasonably firm on the barrel's groove mount, but not firmly enough to distort the shim stock material or the barrel. Two of the files are in inches. I think one might be in millimeters, I forget which one.
