MendelMax adjustable Z axis end stop

MendelMax adjustable Z axis end stop

The original Z-axis stop on my MendelMax is quite limited in its adjustability, requiring me to slide it up and down an 8mm rod, which isn't very practical at all. So, I decided to design a new one that can be tuned with a simple wheel turn. This custom stop uses two M3 x 8mm socket head screws for the clamp, along with a 20mm adjustment mechanism to fine-tune its height. A spring is also optional, providing extra stability if needed. To ensure accurate adjustments, the wheel screw must be secured in place using glue so it won't slip or move unexpectedly. For anyone interested in modifying this design, I've included the DesignSpark Mechanical file, allowing them to make any necessary changes or improvements. The M3 screw features a 0.5mm thread, while the adjustment wheel has ten distinct gradations, enabling precise adjustments of 0.05mm per step.
