MendelMax Frame to AO Pillow X End Mounting System for Rotoscan Cable Chain

These two items are used to mount a Rotoscan Cable Chain http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:11978 hanging from the upper beam down to an AO Pillow X-End http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:15492 (presumably the motor mount). Derived from my Windbreak/Wall clips. So far it has performed well. Seeing the full photo of the installed version is probably easier to understand than the written instructions. Instructions The Cable Chain Clip should attach to the top beam of the MendelMax, with the two holes facing down. You might have to reverse the direction of one of the ends of the cable chain. Using 2 M3 screws and nuts (don't forget to use washers), secure the cable chain to the clip mount). I didn't want to interfere with the existing X-axis rod mounting, so if you use two screws that protrude from the bottom of the X-end, you can then use a nut to secure the AO Pillow X-End to Rotoscan Cable Chain to the bottom of the x-end. Fasten the cable chain to the plate again using M3 screws and nuts. Then you can feed the wires (probably the X endstop if you have one, and the X stepper motor cables through the square opening and into the cable chain. I intentionally made the holes undersized, so use a drill to widen for a snug fit.
