This is designed to fit the cup holder of a 2019 Mercedes A Class. Just drop the phone in the angled slot. The slot is 10 mm wide to enable a phone in the case. This will work in landscape mode for smaller phones and both landscape & portrait for larger phones. Designed it because there is nowhere to hang phone in the Merc! Its a tight fit to hold the phone in place.
