Mercedes-Benz Citaro Bus Driver's Cabin Window Air Vent Cap

Mercedes-Benz Citaro Bus Driver's Cabin Window Air Vent Cap

thingiverse

The Mercedes-Benz Citaro driver's cabin has 2 air-conditioning vents below the driver's side window that cause heavy condensation in humid, tropical weather. Over time, the fog of condensation creeps upward as the glass cools, obscuring the wing mirror and making the bus unsafe to drive. The window has defroster wires that help to mitigate these, but if they are unserviceable, the only solution, other than wiping the condensation by hand, is to plug the air-conditioning vents. This is a suitable friction-fit plug that looks much more elegant than just taping them over or stuffing the vents (which also risks damaging the fragile plastic in the vent).
