This is a fully functional replacement for the cosmetic mirror in the driver or passenger sun visor. With time the plastic on the original will become brittle and it will fail, mostly where the metal spring is mounted on the back side, or the plastic axles on the cover will break off. The design is meant to re-use the original mirror itself and the metal springs from the original mirror assembly. Tested on Mercedes W639 V350 2010.
