The Mercury-Redstone Launch Vehicle designed for NASA's Project Mercury, was the first American manned space booster. It was used for six sub-orbital Mercury flights from 1960–61; culminating with the launch of the first, and 11 weeks later, the second American (and the second and third humans) in space. (Source Wikipedia) A highly-detailed and accurate model of the Mercury Redstone Rocket, this model was created in 3D Studio Max 2016 with Vray 3.60.03 and a basic setup is included in the scene. Some of the preview renders were captured from Substance Painter where the materials were created. The model is setup with Vray materials that end up in a multi-sub-material, all uniquely unwrapped for best resolution and flexibility. Textures are 4K resolution per piece, featuring Diffuse, Glossiness, Height, IOR, Normal and Reflection. Exports of FBX, ABC and OBJ are also included, as well as a quick render sequence.
