Merry Christmas Tree
thingiverse
I'm excited to share my third creation with you all. This model has been a labor of love, and I hope you enjoy it ^^. The two-color tree, which features vibrant green and red hues, required some manual adjustments to get just right. To achieve this effect, I changed the filament color at exactly 51%. This allowed me to create a seamless transition between the two colors. The four-color tree, on the other hand, presented a more complex challenge. With its stunning combination of black, green, gold, and red filaments, I had to carefully plan out the color changes to ensure a cohesive look. To achieve this, I changed the filaments at 18%, 51%, and 82%. I'm eager to try again to pinpoint the exact percentage for the second color change, as it's essential to get it just right. One minor tweak still needs attention: switching to the final color at 81% resulted in a faint red tint on the second tinsel. Hopefully, adjusting the change point to 82% will resolve this issue and produce the desired effect. This creation was designed using Tinkercad, a fantastic tool that has made it easy to bring my ideas to life.
