made this when I was in need of a cat toy. it's a polyhedra with a captive sphere inside it, strong and light enough to be thrown down stairs Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: i3 prusa Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.1mm or less layerheight recommended Infill: Doesn't matter Notes: mine printed without supports and I wouldn't reccomend them. Adjust infill to determine how heavy you want your inner ball to be. Post-Printing getting the ball loose carefully slide tweezers or a screwdriver between the inner ball and the outer ball and just prize them apart. should seperate no problem :) How I Designed This needed a toy for my cats, so fired up blender and stuck a few modifiers on an icosphere. I used wireframe and subsurf.
