Meshtastic Case for AR15 Mag Pouch

Meshtastic Case for AR15 Mag Pouch

I set out to design a case for a Meshtastic node that would fit into an AR15 mag pouch. I wanted the antenna inside the case so it didn't get broken. I also wanted a larger battery, with an on/off switch (to fully power down/power cycle as the case would be superglued shut) This case is obviously NOT WATERPROOF. (I found that a simple ziplock bag fixes this..hehe) Parts list: LILYGO T-Beam v1.1 (https://a.co/d/5pN91NX) LiPo Battery 10500mAh, 10X60X110mm (https://a.co/d/i1K6Y1M) SMA Female Pigtail (https://a.co/d/4U2OqYV) Mini Slide Switch (https://a.co/d/bawpSVT) This build requires some soldering and removal of the 18650 holder on the back of the tbeam. You will also need to remove the 90 degree antenna connector off the back of the tbeam and replace with the antenna lead. The idea is you're relocating the antenna to inside the case, and wiring the LiPo battery into where the 18650 battery was wired to (be aware of polarity) using the switch to break the red/positive leg of the power wire. Once it was built and tested, I simply superglued the lid on. (maybe someone can remix it with a lid that remains removeable?)
