This thing allows to convert METABO (and compatible) batteries to be used as portable powersupply. It is designed for 14.4v Batteries but could easily be converted to 18V or 32V batteries by adding the additional coding notches to the connector. (FreeCAD Files includes as always). The connector should be printed vertically, standing on the side with the two wire holes. The housing should be printed upside down (ventilation openings on build plate). The connectos used are simple crimp-on spade connectors (~6mm wide). The case covers a XL4015 DC-DC Step Down module which can be found online and can be adjusted to your desired voltage. The case is mounted to the connector using 4 M3x25 screws and 4 M3 hex nuts. The connector can be used standalone if you do not need to convert the voltage and can also act as a contact cover (without connectors) for safe transportation of unconnected batteries.
