I designed this precision trowel for metal detecting on pasture. Since it's plastic it can be used right alongside a pinpointer without setting it off which has been useful on a few occasions for me, specifically when searching in boggy waterlogged fields. Since it's plastic it's less likely to scratch finds than a metal trowel would be. You still need to be careful however. I made it so that it fits securely in to my Molle vest and I've also added a hole in the handle so that I can attach a bungee cord to it, as I have a habit of leaving anything that isn't physically attached to me! Still a work in progress, but I'm interested to see remixes of it! I used the following settings: Infill: 25% Shell layers: 3 The dimensions of the print are 60 x 197 x 11mm, it took around 5 hours to print and used about 32g of material so it's pretty light which is great for carrying around in the fields all day, but it's not suitable for lifting out heavy rocks or cutting through tough roots - instead use it to get in-between rocks and roots. Right tool for the right job.
