Metal + Printed LowRider CNC

NOTE: This is just a crappy mock-up of a metal lowrider cnc! It's not finished or made or anything. My question is why is no one making this?I love CNC's and one day I will have one. The problem is my china one I could not ever get working. It's the only one I can afford! I seriously don't know how they can sell the things that cheap. Anyway, I am always looking at making my own or buying one if its the right price. I come across the LowRider CNC. That thing is awesome! I have been reviewing it and thinking about printing one up. But before I do that I have been pricing the items out. The $200 hardware parts from the V1 site is almost the cheapest you can get all the items for. The problem with printed parts is they are not very strong. Even the people assembling the cnc's break parts. The concept is the easiest I have seen. So why not build a metal one for almost the same price as printed? Maybe print supported parts to make sure things are aligned better or something? Look there are three plates, 2 angles, and pillow blocks. You almost have a CNC from just that! Don't worry, I will be putting more time into this. My goal is to have pretty much all Aliexpress bought parts if I can. See If I can make this the cheapest CNC that anyone can build. :)V1 Engineering; you guys have the best, cheapest CNC I have ever seen! Great Job!!!!!
