Mexican Coat of Arms

Mexican Coat of Arms

myminifactory

This is the Coat of Arms of Mexican, the symbols you see in the center of the Mexican Flag. It represents legend where an Aztec god told the Aztecs where to build their new city - where they saw an eagle eating a snake while perched on a cactus. The eagle on the flag and coat of arms is a golden eagle, on a prickly pear cactus eating a rattlesnake. The city was Tenochtitlan, or present-day Mexico City. I added a "Stand up" version, which stands up on it's own. And a "Hang up" version, which, well, it hangs up!
