The Problem: The MGB ventilation port is open to bugs and anything else that might drop onto the car. The chrome grille is held on with nuts that are not accessible if screen is sandwiched between the grille and the car body. Offered Solution: This lightweight 3d-printed frame allows screen to be affixed, then installed on the car with flexible tabs such that six holes that match grille posts retain the chrome grille. Nuts are no longer needed and junk / bugs are kept out of the car. Installation: (1) Print left and right halves, (2) attach screen to frame using CA or other adhesive and trim screen to match outer edge of frame, (3) remove the car's center windshield wiper from rotating arm, (4) remove chrome grille from intake, (5) clip left and right screens to intake and confirm that grille mount holes align with those in car body, (6) press grille posts into mount holes, (7) reinstall windshield wiper.
