This was a project to install a floating and locking bridge, similar to Steinberger R-Trem using the Point Technologies parts into a Fender Strat body. The Trem can be activated with a traditional bar or by grabbing the tail of the trem. Spring tension is adjusted by a knob behind the trem and the lock is a cam type/positive locking design. Some of the parts were made but the project was never completed. I finished building the guitar as a hard-tail and just kept playing instead of building/designing;). This is a working (i.e. idea generation) model so there is some strange stuff like some concept tuners that will never work;). I installed Steinberger tuners on the real guitar which work great;). There are also some parts that I used as rulers to visually check alignment etc.
